For more than 15 years, I have chosen to accompany people and organisations in French and English in their evolution through coaching (individual and team), training (in coaching at the HEC School where I am Pedagogical Facilitator) and supervision (I am a Faculty member with CSA) of internal and external coaches (individual and collective). My mission is to accompany and care for those who accompany and care for others, with love and humanity.
I am fully aware of the fact that the pandemic is encouraging remote contact and relationship, and consequently remote coaching and supervision, whether individual or collective.
This intensive working practice could therefore reduce us to a head on a bust, in a square, on a screen; what some people are already humorously calling a "Muppet Show" on social networks.
This observation provokes in me a tenfold desire to draw our attention to the bodily dimension of our lives, and obviously in coaching and supervision too. I refuse to be reduced to this little box that reminds me of the Graeme Allwright song. How can I, both as a coach and supervisor, be even more careful for me and my clients who are craving for this, to remain not only mentally but also physically and emotionally connected and "united in harmony?"
